This week, our school held a vibrant Whole School Writing Competition dedicated to one of the defining topics of our time: Artificial Intelligence.
From our youngest Primary learners to our graduating classes, students reflected on the evolving role of AI in daily life, the creative opportunities it unlocks, and the profound societal shifts future technologies may inspire.
“Can AI become a friend, replace a teacher, or create art on its own? Our students explored technology with critical thinking, imagination, and empathy.”
With 270 submitted essays, it was fascinating to observe how different age cohorts engaged with the prompt—formulating persuasive arguments, contrasting human creativity with algorithmic tools, and envisioning their future careers.
Following comprehensive academic evaluation, the competition coordinator published a special printed anthology compiling the finest essays. A total of 14 class prizewinners were awarded, alongside a dedicated distinction for students studying Russian as a Foreign Language. 🏆
Congratulations to all our talented writers and champions for sharing their bold visions! 👏
