From First Kindergarten Steps to First Graduates
The Russian School of Abu Dhabi opened its doors in September 2022. Established by the UAE Presidential Court in partnership with the acclaimed Primakov School, our mission was to provide a home of learning that marries the time-honored academic standards of the Russian educational system with the forward-looking, cosmopolitan spirit of the Emirates.
We launched in Academic Year 2022/23 with Kindergarten and Primary School. With each succeeding year, our campus expanded: welcoming Grade 10 in 2023/24, Grade 11 in 2024/25, and culminating in Grade 12 in 2025/26, when we celebrated our historic first graduating class.
Growth is more than enrollment numbers. Children who entered our classrooms as little Kindergarteners on day one are now completing Grade 2 (equivalent to Grade 1 in the Russian educational system). We are growing together every step of the way.

Our fifth year represents a special milestone: a celebration of school heritage, established community traditions, academic examination excellence, and bold ambitions for the future.

The Beginning — We Start
In September 2022, the Russian School of Abu Dhabi opened its doors for the first time with 105 students in Kindergarten and Primary School. The school was founded by the UAE Presidential Court in cooperation with the Primakov School in Moscow.
