ICT Teacher

Subject teachers are responsible for maximizing the academic progress of the students, providing high teaching standards, closely working with colleagues and participating in development of the department or wellbeing of all school. Subject teachers promote a positive, purposeful and professional working atmosphere that encourages cooperation and challenge, whilst valuing the contribution that individuals make to the success of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • University degree in the subject or a related subject (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised and accredited educational institution) and additional qualification (such as Diploma, teaching qualification), and all certificates and qualifications must be duly notarised and attested) and a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
  • Or university degree in another subject (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised and accredited educational institution) and additional qualification (such as Diploma), and all certificates and qualifications must be duly notarised and attested), and an accredited and recognised teaching certificate or license, and a minimum of two years of experience in teaching the subject.

Priority is given to a teacher that has the following:

  • Minimum IELTS Academic score of six or equivalent for non-native English speakers and those who have completed their education in a language other than English, in any School delivering a curriculum in English.
  • Being bilingual in Arabic/English or any other language as per the school’s needs is preferred.

Primary Teacher (Russian Native)

To teach a class of students ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs. To be flexible and adjust to the needs of a growing school, actively contributing to its development and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • University degree in Primary education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised and accredited educational institution, and all certificates and qualifications must be duly notarised and attested) and a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
  • Outstanding Russian language (Native speakers).
  • Fluent English level.

Teacher should be able to:

  • Promote the school’s aims positively, and use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale.
  • Develop good personal relationships within a team.
  • Establish and develop close relationships with parents and the community.
  • Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) to a variety of audiences.
  • Create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment.
  • Use ICT with confidence to develop aspects of the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the schools Extra Curricular Programme.
  • Have experience with an Interactive Whiteboard.

Speech Therapist/Pathologist

Speech Therapist work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • Education: QFE 7 (Bachelor’s Degree) in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in youth related work.
  • Languages: Native Russian speaker/Fluent in English.

Additional:

  • Experience in working with Special Needs; students with speech issues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • An empathetic and trustworthy personality.
  • High level skill in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to quickly acquire database software skills.
  • Ability to develop good personal relationships within students, parents, team.
  • Highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, with an attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
